Blessing Me

Banky W owns the airwaves right now and ‘Blessing Me’ is the newest reason!

A few hours ago, we reported that he dropped the audio ‘Kololo’ to enforce that he’s absolutely undeterred about the unfortunate incidences that are surrounding him of recent.

Well, he’s not quite done with his testimonies!

He recently released the visuals to his praise song ‘Blessing Me’ where he’s basically offering thanks for the goodness in his life, and the protection he has enjoyed. We are definitely in agreement, as Banky W has had quite and amazing year, especially with the accolades he has received from starring in the box-office breaking movie ‘The Wedding Party’.

The video currently ranks #27 on YouTube’s trending list, and is garnering positively encouraging reviews from fans everywhere.

A few hours ago, the superstar released the audio to ‘Kololo’ produced by amazing producer ‘Masterkraft’. He tells a story of a beautiful lady who drives him crazy and frustrates him. He says that no matter what she does, he still loves, wants and needs her. ‘Kololo’ is supposed to be an expression of how she makes him feel.

EME Boss and star of Kemi Adetiba‘s ‘The Wedding Party‘ Banky W is quite determined to thrive despite all odds! Recently narrowly escaping a fatal fire-outbreak in his Lekki home, the multi-talented superstar is determined not to dwell on the challenges that follow, but instead channel his experiences into new music! Thankfully, he and Duke and none the worse.

Well, we have our fingers crossed: maybe the woman that inspired this track will finally be the one he settles down with like we are all anticipating? Who knows with Mr Capable!

Does Anyone Still Buy CDs These Days??

When was the last time YOU bought a music cd? DistributionCan’t remember, right? Absolutely unsurprising. We’re in the techie age, and everything is accessible on the internet, including and especially music. As a result of this, a lot of artistes and musicians are finding it really difficult to make sales, because their music is made readily available for free download on any and every other blog and every site, and a lot of artistes are not interested in the hassles that follow the enforcement of copyrights. So most times, talented musicians spend time, energy, money and other resources creating amazing music, and they have nothing to show for it financially.

Thankfully, technological advancements have also created easier and faster and more efficient ways for artistes to handle the sale, distribution and even monetization of their music. No, its neither magic nor witchcraft, but you as an artiste can be hands-on involved in your music from creation to sales!

Cobhams’ Debut Album Already Making Waves:

Musical maestro and production genius Cobhams Asuquo is pure proof that truly, impossible is nothing. Although visually-impaired, Cobhams is able to count achievements to which many people can only aspire, and over the weekend he added yet another feather to his already-decorated hat.

Cobhams has spent the last 5 years carefully creating and curating the album, pushing back the release till he felt the timing was perfect. He named the project ‘For You’ for undisclosed reasons, but we like to think that it is because the album is dedicated to his many admiring and supportive fans.

It is clear that all this hard-work will definitely pay off, as fans are already singing praises and applauding the project.

The 14-track masterpiece is his debut album as a performing artiste, and is expected to be seriously lauded as it features several industry heavyweights including Grammy-Award winner Aaron Lindsey, and other talented artistes.

On Sunday March 12th, an exclusive release concert was held in Lagos to mark the official release of the album, and saw very many stars and industry giants in attendance.
